Quick Range Day recap: We worked on our swings, shared tips, and practiced putting and chipping on the aerated green—which was still fast, though nothing like its usual speed. Many members took this time to get swing videos and work on specific aspects of their game with feedback from more experienced players. Some even used impact spray to check contact on their clubs. We’re hoping to add a launch monitor to the mix soon 🤞 We wrapped up by helping Sal, the range’s main man, clear the hill and hit all the balls back to the middle. First @vibegolfleague tournament in the books with UCSB, Cal Poly, UCLA, and CSU Fullerton bringing the heat! Huge thanks to all the players who came out and gave it their all. We had a total of 52 players and we are so grateful for everyone who brought their presence. 🫶 • 🏆 Special shoutout to @ryanmadjidi for taking the top spot with a score of 67 (-3) to lead UCSB to victory with a total score of 356, followed closely by @uclaclubgolf with a score of 369 and @calpolygolfclub with a score of 375. • The energy was unreal out there, and every player brought their best. • We’re just getting started—this is only the beginning of the journey. First off, Happy Halloween 🎃 We hope to see you at Range Day this afternoon. 2:30 PM at Glen Annie. Times have been getting pushed around (pushed forward last minute), the range closes at 4 PM, but we will still be there practicing. About club and where we are at: The UCSB Golf Club isn’t just a club or team—it’s a startup with a huge vision and a community-driven mission! Every single day, we’re putting in the work to keep this dream alive, swimming directly upstream in the golf industry. 🌊 Our projects @projectgrowthegame @ucsbgolfclub @impactgolfstudio and @vibegolfleague (founded in that order)—depend on us continually moving forward. If we stop, even for a few weeks, we’re back to square one. That’s how dedicated we are to building something lasting! From humble beginnings to a movement! In just three short weeks, we’ve experienced remarkable growth. Starting with 12 players in the first week of school, we quickly expanded to 24 by the second week and have held strong ever since. With over 100 Shoreline members, 100 new faces joining our events, and a doubled social media presence, it’s safe to say we’re building a vibrant community. We’re gearing up for our biggest event yet!
